Home Care Services — FAQs
Common questions families ask about Kindlio's home care services in Richmond, Hounslow and London.
What home care services does Kindlio offer?
Kindlio offers a full range of home care services, including personal care, dementia and Alzheimer's care, respite care, live-in care, companionship, hospital discharge care, childcare, household support, and pet care. All regulated services are delivered under our CQC registration.
Is Kindlio a CQC-registered home care provider?
Yes. Kindlio Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Our CQC Provider ID is 1-18721199106 and our registration can be verified on the CQC website.
What is the difference between hourly home care and live-in care?
Hourly home care involves scheduled visits — typically between 30 minutes and several hours — one or more times a day. Live-in care means a trained carer lives with the client and provides 24/7 support. Hourly care is suited to moderate needs; live-in care is better when continuous support or supervision is required.
Do you provide specialist dementia care at home?
Yes. Our care workers complete specialist dementia training, equipping them to support clients living with dementia or Alzheimer's at home with sensitivity, structure, and emotional reassurance.
Can Kindlio support clients with hospital discharge or recovery at home?
Yes. We can support clients returning home after a hospital stay, illness, operation, or fall — with personal care, medication support, meal preparation, mobility assistance and companionship — on a short-term or long-term basis, depending on individual needs.
How does Kindlio keep families updated about their loved one's care?
With the client's consent, our office team maintains regular communication with nominated family members, providing updates on care visits, routines, wellbeing, and any significant observations made by carers.
What happens if my loved one's care needs change over time?
We regularly review care plans to ensure support continues to meet the client's current needs. If more support becomes necessary, we can adjust visit times, increase frequency, or discuss options such as overnight or live-in care.
How does Kindlio respect cultural, religious, and personal preferences in care?
We take time to understand what matters most to each client, including dietary requirements, preferred routines, language preferences, religious practices, cultural traditions and gender preferences for carers where possible.
Can Kindlio carers help with appointments, shopping, and community activities?
Yes. Depending on the individual's care plan, our carers can support shopping, attending appointments, collecting prescriptions, short walks, and community or social activities, helping clients remain active and engaged.
How do I arrange a free care needs assessment with Kindlio?
